She/Her (Why am I seeing this?)

Tansi [Hello]!

My name is Jaicee Chartrand, and I am a Cree Metis individual currently living and working in Winipīhk on Treaty 1 Territory (Winnipeg, Manitoba).

I am a Registered Clinical Psychotherapist (CPCA #4534) and Certified Indigenous Addictions Specialist (ICBOC #202307) with over fifteen years of experience in mental health, addictions, and social services. My therapeutic approach encourages the client’s own strengths and wisdom by using a blend of Positive Psychology and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I believe, as humans, we have free will, our unique perspectives matter, and we are inherently motivated and culpable to fulfill our internal needs and individual potential.

Our work together will be a collaborative process rooted in authenticity, understanding and acceptance.

For clients interested in exploring healing through a wholistic approach, I am a Universal Shamanic Practitioner, Advanced Thetahealing® Practitioner, and Master Instructor Integrated Energy® Therapist. I have been helping people wholistically heal, grow, and awaken since 2013.

Additionally, I am a Consultant and Trainer with the Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Also, as a Wellness Partner with Artists for Mental Health, I collaborate on developing and facilitating wellness workshops and work with artists in 1:1 supportive counselling sessions.

I approach my work with organizations/groups from a collectivistic perspective, where we unite as equal learners and sharers of knowledge to serve our healing communities.
